Planning developments for food stores in Northern Ireland
This is published monthly and monitors planning applications submitted and consents granted for new food stores. It includes both new schemes and extensions to existing stores. There is no minimum value placed on the scheme which might exclude it from the report. It lists schemes that involve an increase in retail sales space.
In a typical month, between 5 and 10 new applications or consents will be picked up.
The report is published either as hard copy or by e-mail, on an annual subscription. Back copies are also available.
Information is obtained from personal and telephone contact with local authorities. The original application is included in the report together with the consent (if approved.)
