Estimated volumes & market shares of ready mixed concrete companies in Great Britain
This is an annual report that lists the estimated market shares of all known ready mixed concrete companies in Great Britain. Outputs are included for each company by county, region and nationally. Volumes are discussed confidentially with each company prior to publication with most prepared to contribute to the report. Our total figures will be close to published industry statistics.
The report will include information on any recently closed plants and those that will start production shortly. A separate analysis identifies industry acquisitions and other changes since the previous report was published. A three year industry forecast is also prepared. Further information is included on smaller companies. This includes the name of the plant, number of truck mixers, estimated output by individual plants, and years of operation. Over 200 companies are included, from the majors to those operating one plant only.
This is the only publically available report that lists the estimated outputs of ready mixed concrete companies at a local and national level. As well as a valuable aid to ready mixed concrete companies, suppliers of equipment, consumables and services will find the report of use to identify market opportunities and as background information to the ready mixed concrete industry.
The report is normally published for the whole country, but can be made available by region if required. A separate report covers Northern Ireland.
