Market survey on the current quarrying industry
This 125 page survey was published at the end of 2003. It brings together, in one document, much of the analysis that BDS has prepared in recent years. Original research was also completed for the survey. Separate sections deal with the end use of aggregates, an analysis of trends in added value markets and reserves. An analysis of the top eight companies' strategy and market coverage is followed by a detailed look at regional markets in terms of companies, shares, production and trends. Methods of transportation and the management structure of the leading companies complete the report.
