Estimated outputs and reserves of pits and quarries in France
This report was published in 2002 and lists the estimated outputs and reserves of all known sand and gravel pits and rock quarries in northern France.
The departments included are:
Bourgogne
Centre
Champagne
Ile de France
Nord
Normandie
Picardie
Outputs and reserves are included for each company and individual location. Production shares are then calculated for each company by department. The local trading names of companies are included together with the name of parent company (if appropriate.)
Our draft figures were discussed confidentially with each company prior to publication. The final report included any amendments.
The report includes information on any recently closed pits and quarries and those that will start production shortly.
The report is available for all the above departments or individual regions. This is the only publically available report that lists the estimated outputs and reserves of individual pits and quarries in these departments.
