In a deal valued at £3.4 million the company has acquired ECT Recycling from the community services group, ECT. The deal includes a forward order book worth £175 million, with possible contract extensions valued at up to £340 million. ECT will now focus its efforts on its community transport services.

The contract is with Donarbon Waste Management and will include the construction of a new mechanical biological (MBT) treatment plant at Waterbeach that will process up to 170,000 tonnes of household waste per annum.
